Engagement Guide

Engagement sessions are a great way to get some formal and informal photos of you and your fiancé. For some this is the first time getting nice photos together as a couple. These photos can be even used for wedding save the dates, wedding decor or a signing photo book for your guests. So lets make this session tailored to you two as a couple.

What to Wear


Neutrals, Warm tones, white, black, creams. These all photograph beautifully with my editing style. Avoid neon, distracting patterns, words or logos on clothing. Its important to feel comfortable in what you're wearing. Be sure to be comfortable it in from every angle. If you don't feel good in your outfit this can show in photos.


Come Prepared


Bring all of the things that you might need! That includes makeup touchups, deodorant, water, snacks, whatever you need to maintain your fabulous-ness. If you want to go into water or lay on the beach bring a towel and a change of clothes.


Bring an Extra Outfit


Your Engagement package includes 2 outfit changes, so bring a change of clothes if you want to. Depending on your preference, most couples like to switch it up for their second outfit. I typically suggest one 'formal' outfit and one 'casual' outfit.


Props


You don't need props however you're welcome to bring all the props you want. Hats, blankets, pets, champange, picnic whatever you want to bring!


We'll Start On Time


To respect both of our schedules, we will plan to start at the session time. Please be on time, otherwise your session will be cut short and I want to maximize my time with you two!
